Account and sign-in
Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen if you cannot access your account, and check your spam folder. For other issues, include your sign-in email, Dispo version and device model — never your password.
Private messages, groups and media
Dispo 2.2 supports text, photos, compressed videos up to 2 minutes and documents in private or group conversations. If an upload appears stuck, keep the app open, check your connection and try again.
Version 2.3 adds full dates, emoji reactions and controls to edit or delete your own messages and media. Those controls do not appear in older builds.
Notifications and app badge
The bell in the app collects unread alerts. In Profile → Settings → Notifications, you can set SOS, message and band alerts separately. If nothing arrives, also check iOS Settings → Notifications → Dispo, then reopen the app so the device can register again.
SOS requests and sessions
An SOS request shows the instrument, level, date, venue and seats still open. Your own requests remain under “My SOS”. Upcoming gigs, rehearsals and jams live under Sessions; past dates move into history with their songs and attendance.
Reporting and blocking
Open the options menu on a musician’s profile to report or block them. Blocking hides the profile and prevents further conversations. Reports are reviewed to help protect the community.
The Dispo network no longer uses demo accounts: visible profiles are tied to real accounts.
If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Dispo is not a substitute for the relevant authorities.
Delete your account
In Dispo, open Profile → Settings (gear icon) → My account → Permanently delete my account. This removes the account and associated data according to our privacy policy. If you can no longer access the app, contact us from the account email.
